Planning it Out

Test run, it is late and the computer has a twin brother... though I fear I am only seeing double from the lack of sleep and have not been blessed with a second computer. Charlie Parr croons in the background while I am sitting at my desk staring at my travel pack and maps on the wall.
There is much anticipation on my part, I have planned to the point there is little left to circumstance, so I planned a bit of spontaneity that we can tinker with (just to let it feel like we were living life on the wild side for a moment). I have to laugh because I am trying so hard to plan out a trip - knowing full well there a things that will not go "according to plan" and we will have to adjust... I look forward to (and am wanting to know) how it will all turn out... this is the excitement of the trip, the unknown; to look back on writings like this and laugh at my naivety.
For the time being... I need to brush up on my Italian that I never learned in the first place.
My bags are everything short of being packed

Be in the moment. Deal with what is presented right now right now. Leave later until later. That ain't naive, it's adventure. Enjoy!

P.S. All the Italian you need to know is right here:
"un cappucino por favore," "Graci."

Mien Kinder (that's Irish....or maybe not)

Glad to see you out and about in Ireland......

Can you guys do me a favor while your there?......could you pick me up one of those hand carved, solid
block meerschaum pipes that are carved into the shape of a leprecon's head...................

.......you know the one........
it's the one with a miniature meerschaum pipe in his mouth with the 24K gold, hinged bowl cover
shaped like a derby that's embedded with emeralds in the form of a shamrock?......and with rubies for eyes?

....you know the one i'm talking about.....the one with the foot long ebony stem that's inlayed with 24k gold saying "Erin go Bragh"? (Scottish origin, by the way)......

...you should be able to pick one up pretty cheap.....around $2500 USD (just under $4000 Euros if you include the tax)....I'll pay you back when you get back to the States......

.....thanks you guys....I really appreciate it.....

Have a wonderful time and I hope you get to see El Papa when you are in Roma ( If not, at least you will be sure to see someone's papa no doubt)...

Ilove you
Be safe,

Dad Steve
