Test run, it is late and the computer has a twin brother... though I fear I am only seeing double from the lack of sleep and have not been blessed with a second computer. Charlie Parr croons in the background while I am sitting at my desk staring at my travel pack and maps on the wall.
There is much anticipation on my part, I have planned to the point there is little left to circumstance, so I planned a bit of spontaneity that we can tinker with (just to let it feel like we were living life on the wild side for a moment). I have to laugh because I am trying so hard to plan out a trip - knowing full well there a things that will not go "according to plan" and we will have to adjust... I look forward to (and am wanting to know) how it will all turn out... this is the excitement of the trip, the unknown; to look back on writings like this and laugh at my naivety.
For the time being... I need to brush up on my Italian that I never learned in the first place.
